GCSE Results Day 2022
The Highcrest Academy have praised students and staff for their resilience after a wonderful year of GCSE results.
Glen Burke, Principal of the academy said: “Many congratulations to all of our students on their successes; we are all immensely proud of them. Their achievements are so very well deserved after the challenges they have faced over the past couple of years. I am so pleased that their results reflect their resilience, dedication and the strength of character they have shown during these difficult times. I would like to thank every one of our staff team who have, as always, gone above and beyond to secure these outcomes for our students”.
A Level & BTEC Results Day 2022
The Highcrest Academy have praised students and staff for their resilience after another wonderful year of A-Level and BTEC Level 3 results.
Glen Burke, delighted Principal of the academy in High Wycombe said: “Everyone amongst our community is so proud of the way that this cohort of young people have risen to the extraordinary challenges posed by the pandemic during their examination years. Despite these unprecedented times, the youngsters have demonstrated an incredible work ethic, displaying high levels of maturity and resilience during their studies; qualities that will stand them in good stead for their future lives. I am so pleased that their results reflect the hard work and effort that they have put in. They really are a credit to themselves, and their families, and after such a turbulent couple of years it is important that today is a day for celebration!”.
Mr Burke added: “I would like to thank every single one of our staff team who have, as always, gone above and beyond to secure the best possible outcomes for our students. They have helped to ensure that our students are able to seamlessly move on to the next exciting stage of their life journey, whether this be a job, an apprenticeship or a place at university”.
Gareth Roberts, Head of the Sixth Form at Highcrest added, “The Sixth Form team and I are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students' achievements. As their first experience of public examinations, they can all move onto their next steps knowing that they can take on any challenge that they may face in future. We wish them all the very best and we hope to see them returning in the not-too-distant future as positive role models for our lower school students.”
