Sixth Form Entrance Criteria
Each subject we offer has its own individual criteria, put together by the Head of Sixth Form alongside subject leads with the aim of making sure students are enrolled for courses where they can succeed and achieve a positive learning outcome.
Only students who achieve 30 points or above from their best five GCSE results will be able to apply to enrol onto four A Levels (or equivalents).
Any student enrolled onto BTEC Level 2 courses must achieve a minimum of a Level 2 Merit (in both subjects) to gain access to BTEC Level 3 courses. These students must also achieve a minimum of a 4 in GCSE English if re-sitting in Year 12.
